Haystacking – another for the glossary

I just heard Jay Dyer & Tim Kelly on Our Interesting Times discuss the term “haystacking,” a phenomenon I’d been aware of but didn’t know had a name. Contrary Law of Democracy (to coin a phrase!)

I have noticed that if the powers that be want to perpetuate an unpopular war, they put a Democrat in to silence the anti-war left.
